Mé, agricul. ;-)

Acknowledgements

An old Chinese prover says: ”Doing a good job requires good tools”. I can say without any doubt that this thesis has been done using the best tools: the support, the knowledge, and the help I found in the lab during the last four years. A special thanks goes to Professor {nome_del_prof} for its support and the opportunities I’ve been given. A few words to thank {nomi_dei_soci} for all the team work and the time spent together.

A special thought goes to my mother and to {mylady} for their patience and understanding during these years. Without you it wouldn’t have been so easy to reach this goal.

For every uncorked bottle, for every visited wine cellar, for every cooked meal, for every time you say nothing about my delays... I give my most fervent thanks to Rebus and QMan. You are for sure my liver’s worst nightmare, but you’re also the best friends I could hope to have.

My girls, first of all Ladyreaper, {sorella_di_Ladyreaper}, QLady and {amica_strizzacervelli}, that helped me in many ways along this path. I hope to always be able to proudly fit in that sentence: ”These people are rare who know how to listen”.

How to forget Ehvvivi and Zetag? Thanks for the help in learning that the only way to face a problem is in the bones of our land: ”Mai pagüra!*”.

A particular thanks goes to who accepted the heavy task of reviewing this thesis. Centuries of English language and traditions are grateful for your standoff against my attacks.

Last but not least, a cheers to this subject that after two decades is still able to intrigue me and to spur me on to continue researching: ”Information Technology, a science staying a step above Astrology but a step below Physiognomy”.

* - No worries!
